“ We visited while staying in the area, without doubt the best Full English breakfast I have had in years, the 'bridge to far' was an excellent choice, lovely produce, cooked perfectly, great portion size without overdoing it (especially before an 11 mile bike ride). Our two teenagers also had the same and managed to finish it. My wife had the eggs royale, which was lovely. The coffee was great and the friendly and attentive service made it a perfect start to the day. A must visit if you are in the area, or worth a drive! Would definitely visit again. ”
“ Wow, what an absolute gem! Gorgeous interior with old beams. Fantastic coffee. Breakfast was amazing. They took some of my bacon back for extra crisping without making me feel awekward in any way for asking. Just the nicest staff and atmosphere. The breakfast punched way above it's price tag. Sausages weren't to my taste, bit too bready. I'm a fussy one tho, so that's probably on me. Definitely will come again. ”

“ We found this lovely place accidentally and luckily they have the menu outside so I was able to spot the vegan breakfast. We went in an hour before closing time on a Sunday. We ordered a vegan breakfast with an extra sausage and my fiance had the "A bridge too far" breakfast. He didn't notice that I could get black pudding extra so he will definitely order next time. Both our plates were lovely, the mushrooms are delicious. My fiance was so pleased with cooking of the sausages as they are not deep fried as most of places do. The service was very friendly and the atmosphere inside is cosy and comfy. Saved it on my map for more and more visits. ”
“ Fantastic cafe with excellent service. I arrived by bicycle, and one of the staff asked if I would like to put the bike round the back in the cafe garden. This was really appreciated as it always stressful leaving the bike out of site on the high street Food was as good as the service! I had hot baguette with sausage and onion, which was truly excellent, the flat white and berry smoothie were equally as good. I have made a note to visit again when I'm passing through! ”

We were greeted in a friendly manner, and the vegan choice for my wife was explained as a real vegetable sausage, which she enjoyed. My breakfast was equally enjoyable.
